Office Description:
The Association on American Indian Affairs is the oldest nonprofit serving Indian Country, providing programs to protect sovereignty, preserve culture, educate youth and build capacity.
Potential Projects:
This is dependent upon skill set and skill level, and may involve office administration, programs, or communications work. Assigned projects are also not set for Summer 2023 yet, because they are further dependent on the status of any given program or project available at the time of the internship. Projects will be communicated to interns in-advance of their fellowship start date.
Desired Skills:
Strong communication skills, significant research and writing experience, demonstrated understanding of federal Indian law and policy matters.
