As San Francisco’s youngest mayor in 100 years, Gavin Newsom has brought fresh ideas and renewed energy to the City and County. He has earned a reputation as an innovator on issues ranging from homelessness to the environment, healthcare to education.

Projects Fellows Have Worked on in the Past:
Projects past fellows have worked on in the past include putting together PowerPoint presentations relating to the mayor’s efforts with regard to Recreation and Park issues. They also attended meetings on a broad range of topics ranging from San Francisco’s Sanctuary City status to the mayor’s monthly town hall policy forums and many topics in between. They also wrote letters to many of the constituents that the mayor personally promised to help.
