Office Description:
Supervisor Alioto-Pier represents District 2 in San Francisco, which includes the Presidio, Cow Hollow, Marina, Pacific Heights, as well as part of the Richmond neighborhood. In addition to her regular board duties, Supervisor Alioto-Pier serves of the Government Audits and Oversight Committee. She is a member of the San Francisco Disaster Council and is the Board Representative on the State Legislative Committee. Prior to her service on the Board of Supervisors Supervisor Alioto-Pier served as a San Francisco Port Commissioner, focusing on port security issues. Supervisor Alioto-Pier is also known for her civil rights activism for disability rights. A fellow in this office will work closely and directly with the Supervisor herself and her two legislative aides.

Projects Fellows Have Worked on in the Past:
- Children's Collaborative Task Force: A task force created to promote equality of education among San Francisco's public, private and parochial schools.
- Constituent issues: directly working with constituents to help address both short term and long term small projects
- Legislative History: project included researching and compiling an entire history of the Supervisor's legislative actions
