Office Description:

The Stockholm Environment Institute US Center (SEI-US) is a non-profit research organization affiliated with the Stockholm Environment Institute, an international research organization working on sustainable development. The work of SEI-US is interdisciplinary in nature: drawing upon engineering, economics, ecology, ethics, operations research, international relations and software design. SEI-US conducts applied scientific research, its objective being to bring the best available science to policy makers. SEI-US’s activities are organized into three main programs, Climate and Energy Program, Water Resources Program, Future Sustainability Program.

Potential Projects:

  • Fellows will work on a wide range of projects that are interdisciplinary, including policy and engineering projects.
  • International and US climate and energy, water resources, and future sustainability projects
  • Quantitative analysis and mitigation and resource planning projects.
  • Every fellow will have ample opportunity to take on substantive projects and learn by doing.
