Office Description:

The Center for Legislative Archives, part of the National Archives, documents and preserves the records and history of the Legislative Branch. The Center uses these documents to promote a better understanding of the Legislative Branch and the history of American government in general.

Projects Fellows Have Worked on in the Past:

Recent fellows have worked on research concerning the Fourteenth Amendment and the impeachment of Andrew Johnson and have also integrated newspaper articles, political cartoons, petitions and other historical documents to contribute towards various education texts.
